Lyrics
Trail of Blossoms

A trail of blossoms
To heal this land
A flower bride on this tree of life
She left a trail behind
And from a sunflower came a lotus
To remind you where you've been
Oh Gaura Nitai [x 3]

T'was spring when she set out
In a winter snow
A trail of blossoms grew wherever she'd go
For love was in her eyes
He held my gaze under a dome of stars
And held my hand in meadows so green
Oh Gaura Nitai [x 3]

Over yonder pastures I have grazed
A cool breeze upon my face
Under the willow tree of life He lay
Quiet love everlasting
If it be Your will to let me in
May the skies open up wide
Oh Gaura Nitai [x 3]

Magdalene

Within me lies the key, Iím a whisper in the wind,
Her silence beckons you Home, across a sea of mist & stormy clouds
Ooh, ooh, ooh;

Chorus: In a summer without flowers, a cloud filled day without showers,
A moon without her rays, people weíve lost our way,
What if the world stopped crying? People loving without trying,
Oh open up your eyes.

Forgive me if I ache I'm inching towards a long held dream,
Of drinking the vine, I drink of the Divine
I grasp a Rose, and bow down in wonder
Ooh, ooh, ooh.

Chorus rpt.

Arise with me, place your hands upon the Grail, gently,
She rose again,
It's time to flower from the seeds planted so long ago...
Oooh, oooh, oooh

Angel Tears

A tear has fallen,
Peek out from your eyes and take a look at your life,
As from darkness comes light;

Chorus:

I wish I could hold you tight in my arms,
& one by one the losses turn to gain,
Our love can heal hearts once torn;

You're a flower in the moonlight,
A glittering star in space,
Oh you must be an angel (a twighlight place),
You must be an angel,
You must be an angel,
You must be an angel;

Chorus rpt

I once was a sailor, looking for a place to be,
A place to rest my weary heart, now love flows through me;

Chorus rpt to end...

Lonesome Girl

When will that day come? When will I receive?
Please don't ever stop trying to love me
Because I am just a child trying to get by
I am just a lonesome girl trying, trying to fly high
I feel alone sometimes

You speak words to me yet I don't take them in
I guess I don't know everything
Where should I begin?
Because I am just a child trying to get by
I am just a lonesome girl trying, trying to fly
I am just a child trying to get by
I am just a lonesome girl trying, trying to fly high
I feel alone sometimes
Sometimes I feel I need you

Tell Me Why
[on previously released editions of CD only]

Where did I meet you? Was it down in the water?
Where I swam to find a golden light that shines,
Did you know you would meet me, & always be with me?
Cos' I don't want to live without you near,
No I don't want to live without you here;

CHORUS:
How am I supposed to live without you in my life
without you at my side?
Tell me why did I cry when you said goodbye,
tell me why did I cry?
Tell me why, tell me why?
Whenever I see you smile, whenever I hear your voice,
When I feel You near me, I'm where I love to be
You know I'm where I want to be

Why have I come here to be frozen in the water,
When I'm reaching my hands up to the light?
My heart is aching,
anticipating the day that I can have you in my life,
cosí I don't feel you here with me tonight.
Tell me why, in my life.....
Tell me why

Chorus to end.

Sweet Mist

Forests alive with sparkling light, guided by a full moon night,
I went to the sea & saw reflections of me;

Holding the sword to the chambers of my heart aah,
The sweet mist of holy water,
Where a fair Knight dared to roam,
He lay me in a temple enshrined aah;

Weeping in ecstasy, mercy raining down on me,
Dancing like shadows, through gateways with angels,
Where castles & dreams remember the wisdom of the old days;

The sweet mist,
Holding the sword to the chambers of my heart aah aah,
The sweet mist of holy water,
Where a fair Knight dared to roam,
He lay me in a temple enshrined,
Remembering the wisdom;

The sun is rising in the East, Divine love eternal peace,
Playing in the gardens there, Iíll wear flowers in my hair,
Where castles & dreams remember the wisdom of the old days,
Remember the wisdom, remember the wisdom,
The sweet mist, the sweet mist, the sweet mist of holy water,
The sweet mist, the sweet mist,
The sweet mist, the sweet mist,
Of holy water...
The sweet mist...
Of holy water...
The sweet mist... rpt to end.

"Radhika Govinda boli" kaandibo uccaih-svare
Bhijibe sakala anga nayanera nire
"Radhe"

About this ancient prayer:
Traditional holy names (mantra) of ancient India. I chose this chant as it is called the Maha-Mantra, the greatest of all mantras. This mantra reveals to the seeker both the feminine and masculine Divine, God and Goddess through these names.

Hare is the sound vibration representing the female aspect of Divinity, or the Goddess. Krishna is one of God's many names meaning all-attractive blissful One.

Rama in this chant means that aspect of God when He is in an ecstasy mood of separation from the Goddess Sri Radha (Radha-Raman), or here named Hare. Chanting or speaking the names of God and Goddess has been a spiritual practice for thousands of years. It is a means of purification and spiritual practice for the sincere spiritual seeker. By speaking these names one calls God and Goddess to them, who then bless the seeker by purifying the heart from unwanted obstacles to pure love (lust, greed, anger, envy etc).

In the process of chanting, ones heart gradually becomes free from the attachments of this world, and instead attaches itself to the Divine One God and One Goddess, ultimately bringing the soul Home to the Spiritual World, known as Goloka Vrindavan in Vedic scripture, or more commonly known as The Kingdom of God.

The "Radhika Govinda boli" section of the song is an extract from a 16th century song written by Narottama Das Thakura, a world-famous poet and Saint from India. This prayer means "while singing the names of Goddess and God I will weep loudly and my whole body will be soaked by the tears of love flowing from my eyes".
